Parkrun Token Board

This was a volunteering project towards Oxford parkrun. A free weekly timed 5k run that happens across the world at 9am.

The brief was to make something like this:

Runners are given ordered tokens at the end of the run, once all the tokens have been collected back in they need to be organised into order for the next week. The token board helps with this.

I made a template using InDesign along with mail merge to create equally spaced token layout labels with the correct numbering for the tokens.

This was then engraved into a block of wood that had been stuck down with adhesive into an arts and craft A3 plastic folder. I also used some hooks from a hardware store and used a drill with a round end to screw them in.
