My iPLJ

I developed the technical side of a CPD tracking system, My iPLJ. Inspired by a Trello like listing of tasks that needed to be done. It linked directly to core internal systems allowing for individual folders to be generated for users within Google Drive, forms responses to be recorded and stored against checklist tasks and files to be uploaded as well.

The idea of the system was for it to be general in order to cover a wide range of activities including examples such as compliance for ECTs (Early Career Teachers), External INSETs (with approval stages) and  professional Reading Groups. Each of these would have its own iPLJ 'type' that could be modified by an administrator to have certain tasks automatically assigned once started, with custom due dates dependent on the start date. This hopefully will make management of these complex workflows more straightforward and reduce miscommunication by having everything in one place. It also makes the experience less overwhelming for the end user and helps them keep on track with completing their CPD entry and producing information they can provide to help them progress their career in the school or provide to future employers / bodies.
